The Sydney-based mineral exploration company Global Geoscience has entered into an agreement to acquire the global logistics management software platform, GetSwift.

Distributed Logistics Group developed the platform to run the food and booze delivery service liquorun.com, which promised to make said deliveries in 30 to 60 minutes.  After optimizing it as a sophisticated, standalone platform designed for business-to-business operation, Distributed Logistics called it GetSwift and put it on the market.

Designers claims that GetSwift will enable clients to "dispatch like Uber, set routes like FedEx and track deliveries like Domino's".  Well, like Little Caesars Pizza in New South Wales, which is a client, as is Harris Farm Markets and Lion Nathan beer and wine.  In fact, GetSwift has 70 Clients in 50 countries.
