A Washington State man is charged with bigamy (and might be the absolute laziest, worst record-keeper in the world) after his wives discovered each other as his “friends” on Facebook. 

The now 41-year old State Corrections Officer was known as Alan Fulk when he married a woman in 2001.  But they separated after a few years and lived apart.

He changed his name to Alan L. O’Neill and married another woman, posting photos of their wedding cake on his Facebook page.

So, right there you gotta wonder, if he went through the trouble of going to court to change his name, why didn’t he just get a quickie, no-fault divorce?

Anyhow, wife #1 saw the photos.  Within an hour she arrived at his apartment to ask if they were married or divorced. 

Court records show, "The defendant said, 'No, we are still married.'"

Wrong answer, Alan!  And now the corrections officer faces up to a year in jail.
