US President Barack Obama invited a Muslim teen to visit the White House, after the boy was suspended, handcuffed, and arrested for making an alarm clock for a class project, after utter morons mistook it for a bomb.  Embarassed prosecutors declained to press charges against 14-year old Ahmed Muhamad of the Dallas suburb Irving, Texas for MacArthur High School's idiotic racism.  "Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It's what makes America great," Mr. Obama wrote on social media.  The hastag "#IstandwithAhmed" blew up around the world, with the teen getting the support of NASA scientists and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg.

For a limited time only, Coloradans were saving about 10 percent on an ounce of Marijuana!  But they had to hurry, because the sale ended on Thursday.  It turns out that legal marijuana in Colorado has been successful - way more successful than anticipated.  The state brought in more more than US$30 Million over budgetary projections, so it suspended the marijuana sales tax for a couple of days this week.  That allows smokers to to save about US$20 on a $200 ounce of weed.  This is what happens with sound, rational marijuana policy.
